How long have you been doing CrossFit and what made you want to try it?

3 years. I opened a chiropractic and sports medicine office at RCFBC and figured I better learn more about this CrossFit thing. Now I can’t get enough of it!.

What is your favorite aspect of being a CrossFit coach?

Helping people achieve what they never thought was possible!

What is the most frustrating aspect of being a CrossFit coach?

Caring more about the athlete’s health than they do. Same frustration I experience as a chiropractor!

What advice would you give to someone wanting to try CrossFit for the first time?

Rx is for the best athlete that will walk into the gym that day. Push yourself, but don’t be disappointed when you first start CrossFit if you can’t Rx every, or any workout for that matter. Listen to your coach, show up, be consistent, and work hard. The gains will come!

What are some of your favorite activities outside the gym? 

Correcting spines, surfing, fishing, and carpentry!

What’s your favorite holiday?

The 4th of July!

Who is your favorite CrossFit athlete and why?

Scott Graham because he’s so handsome!

Quads

You’re on a deserted island and can only have three things… What would they be and why?

A fishing pole and tackle so I can eat..

An “Awesome set of tools” to build a kick ass island home.

A surf board so I can enjoy “some tasty waves”.
