How long have you been doing CrossFit and what made you want to try it?I have been doing CrossFit ever since Reebok CrossFit Bare Cove opened the big red trailer doors for the first time, 4 years ago in the back parking lot. I showed up in jeans to see what it was all about and next thing I knew I was wearing someone else pants doing my first WOD.
What is your favorite aspect of being a CrossFit coach?
Honestly, it is hearing members thanking me for helping them through WODs or with their lifts.
What is the most frustrating aspect of being a CrossFit coach?
Not having a good marker for the whiteboard
What advice would you give to someone wanting to try CrossFit for the first time?
The hard part is done if they are already inquiring about it. I would tell them to show up 15 minutes before class and be ready to have a good time.
What are some of your favorite activities outside the gym?
I’m very boring and don’t do much besides drink beer and work on projects that require adult beverages.
What’s your favorite holiday?
My favorite holiday is my Birth month
Who is your favorite CrossFit athlete and why?
I am my favorite CrossFit athlete because I’m not perfect and don’t pretend to be.

Thrusters – because they suck.
Least favorite movement (s):
Burpees- because they suck.
What is the thing that you HATE to mobilize?
Yes – I HATE to mobilize, I’m a big fan of grip it and rip it.
You’re on a deserted island and can only have three things… What would they be and why?
A big ol’ cooler of Bud Light, a sharp knife, and a fishing rod.
