How long have you been doing CrossFit and what made you want to try it?

6 years. Working at Reebok when the partnership began gave me the push I needed.

What is your favorite aspect of being a CrossFit coach?

Changing lives!

What is the most frustrating aspect of being a CrossFit coach?

When people don’t listen to the coach when they advise a scale or a change in movement and end up hurting themselves.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to try CrossFit for the first time?

Take it slow, listen to the coach, and be patient!

What are some of your favorite activities outside the gym?

Serving as a youth group leader @ my church, spending time with my family, & traveling (esp. to tropical locations!)

Who is your favorite CrossFit athlete and why?

Rich Froning because not only is he an unbelievable athlete, he is also a strong Christian who lives it out, he loves his wife & adopted daughter, and is a great role model for people everywhere.

What is the thing that you HATE to mobilize?

IT Band 

You’re on a deserted island and can only have three things… What would they be and why?

My Bible, my family, & plants that provide food & water…The food sustains me physically, my family sustains me emotionally, & my Bible sustains me spiritually. 🙂
